I'm mostly bitching about the shows that are still on air, so heh.
1. How I Met Your Mother
It's about Ted (voiced by Bob Saget) telling his children (in the year 2030) the very long story of how he met their mother. Every episode is a different story of him and his friends in the year 2005 and his journey into finding his wife. He tortures his children (and the audience) by keeping us guessing who the wife (and their mother) is. As far as I can tell, it's not Lily nor is it Robin. I'll tune in when they finally reveal who Ted's wife is. That, and I can't watch Neil Patrick Harris (who came out a few years ago) play a straight guy on TV; a womanising straight guy, no less.
2. Lost
So some people got stranded on a tropical island. Now there's a lot of X-Files type stuff on the show, people coming and going. The only ending I want to see is the castaways getting OFF the island. I guess I should be glad that it's gonna be done in 2010.
3. Prison Break
As far as I can tell, it's basically this: First season: How to get in and how to break out of prison Second season: The actual breaking out Third season: Staying OUT of prison Basically, I don't know how they're gonna end this. No matter how hot Wentworth Miller is, I can't bring myself to watch it.
4. 24
I like the concept of every episode represents an hour and every season is a day of CTU agent Jack Bauer's life, but come on - no matter how butt clenchingly-stressed the situation may be (be it one involving terrorists or the assassination of presidents), he doesn't have to go to the bathroom or sleep?! There's only so much adrenaline that a person can survive on lah.
5. Grey's Anatomy
A bunch of medical residents bonking the older doctors who are supposed to guide them. How not busy is that hospital that the cast can find time (and place) for quickies and all that nonsense? I personally can't stand Ellen Pompeo's voice and how McDreamy and McSteamy are not dreamy and steamy enough (IMO). That, and I don't think I could watch another gay guy (T.R. Knight) play a straight guy on TV.
6. The Bachelor
One hot guy, 25 women. I dunno why these idiots wants to be The Bachelor du jour despite the 100% failure rate. (There's a happily-married Bachelorette and one of the former Bachelors finally got married, but he didn't marry anyone off the show, so that doesn't count). But I still watch it anyway :P
7. Heroes
Tuned into the first season like everyone else just because I was curious. Then I got bored by the constant doomsday plot device that the writers seem fond of using. The last time I was asked what happened at the end of the first season, I answered: "... and Sylar became ka chuak (cockroach) and ran down the sewer". The first episode of the second season was a bit of a snore for me. Now I think it's a little overrated.
8. Desperate Housewives
Saw the first couple of seaons, then I fell out with it. Susan Mayer the character was pissing me off big time.
9. Ugly Betty
A little too campy for me. Cannot tahan already.
10. SNL (Saturday Night Live)
90 minute comedy sketch show that's been around since the 70s - lots of today's comedians were cast members. There's usually a host of the week (some actor) who'll usually be in the sketches also and musical guest who'll play a couple of songs throughout the show. I don't watch the show regularly - and when I only do when I hear that someone I like is hosting. I'm not sure if it's just me or the cultural bias, but I don't get most of the sketches they've got when I DO watch. The only sketch that I've usually enjoyed is Weekend Update. The last one I saw was when Hugh Laurie hosted, and that was a long while back.
