Another state holiday.

Nuzul Al-Quran today (according to Wikipedia, it's supposedly the day the Prophet Muhammad first receives the first lines of the Quran). Another state holiday. Woke up to the ringing phone (what else is new?) and also some guys who are stripping the paint off the front gate with the high pressure cleaner. No rest for the weary.

Had to get a couple of things done for the pater before going to Midvalley.

Ended up taking public transport down, which is just as well cos the traffic looked terrible on the way back.

Didn't really buy anything, but I spent more on food and drink there than anything else. Was tempted to get Krispy Kreme for myself (and maybe some to bring home), but thankfully they were giving away the Original Glazed outside the store and my craving was satieted. Heh. At least they didn't just give them away nilly willy, only giving them to non-Muslims (it's still Ramadhan after all)... or at least people who were not fasting.

The day might be a bust (had a few things I wanted to do when I was out, but didn't), but at least I had some exercise. And I also didn't really buy anything :P
