- Short work week thanks to Merdeka Day being on Monday - yay.
- Finished the first season of The Mentalist.
- Finally finished Richard Wiseman's Quirkology: The Curious Science of Everyday Lives.
- Bought Body2Body: A Malaysian Queer Anthology (RM34, published by Matahari Books, Amir Muhammad's publishing baby) at Borders Sunday. Took a while for them to find it for me in The Curve's Borders store, but got lah a few more copies on the shelf. Due to the nature of the book, it's a limited release to selected bookstores (check this link to find out which ones). Couldn't be arsed to head to a Times outlet for the 10% members' discount. And at least it's cheaper than getting it on Amazon. PERIOD.
- Found Mew's new album, No more stories/Are told today/I’m sorry/They washed away No more stories/The world is grey/I’m tired/Let’s wash away at my favourite music chain, Victoria Music in Bangsar Shopping Centre when I was there last just to see the changes that I've not seen in months since they got done with renovations. You don't usually pay the sticker price, and I got charged RM40.50, which is not that bad considering they're not terribly mainstream. Don't get me started on Sigur Ros albums - they cost about RM10 a song :P
- Also got a few more things, but 'nuff said about that.
