Earthquake aftershock in Malaysia

The internet was a-twitter with people in various parts of the country saying that they felt the tremors in their homes/offices on Facebook and Twitter. If I was in a high rise, I'd probably run outside too.

I didn't know/feel anything about it until I heard about it on Twitter personally. Then again, I was either on my way home or had just gotten home and no way I was perceptive to those things anyway. Ignorance is bliss. I know at least one person who's got an emergency pack ready for these sort of things.

Turns out that the tremors were from a 7.6 Richter scale quake in Sumatra - we were getting the aftershock. This on top of the one in Samoa earlier in the week and the devastating tropical storms in Vietnam and some other SEA countries. Wah lau eh.
