G-Force

Saw the guinea pig spy movie G-Force last night for the heck of it. Thought of watching Gamer, but as much as I like to see Gerard Butler on a big screen, I wasn't in the mood to watch anything terribly violent.

Entertaining for the most part (kids' movie, after all). No actual animals were harmed as they're CG. No biggie. Voice talent was so-so; suspect they're in it so that their kids can watch it.

A lot of comic actors in this one. One of the running gags was the humans calling them everything from gophers to hamsters, but never actually calling them guinea pigs.

Comic relief was in the form of a deranged part-ferret hamster. Freaking hilarious.

Spoiler alert: It was the mole.

Not something I would watch again.

Random stuff:
  • Saw the Shorts trailer - sigh, seeing James Spader as the bad guy (post BL-movie) makes me miss Alan Shore.
  • Tropicana City Mall - hard to kill time there when you're not looking for a bite to eat, but at least the RM6 Wednesday ticket is a lure for cheapskates who hate lining up. Thankfully, not very crowded. Took me longer to get my popcorn and drink than I did the ticket.
