Short work week this week, but can imagine a lot of people would have also taken Friday off for yet another 4 day weekend if they could (not me).
- Most unexpected news of the week: Jock found dead day before the new season of MasterChef Australia was about to start. So the new season is postponed one week, but gonna be sad and awkward AF to watch going forward.
- WGA strike started this week. First casualties are the late night shows and shows like SNL. Who knows how long this'll go, but it's affected a lot of things.
- Also don't think it's a coincidence that Corden bailed when he did - now his writers got time to go picket if they want to.
- Spent Thursday/Star Wars Day/Vesak watching the final instalment of Guardians of the Galaxy.
- Rumour has it that Coldplay might stop in Malaysia for their current tour. I'm wondering who's got so much money to pony up for them to come in the first place. I'll believe it when I see it.
- Charles III finally got the coronation ceremony he been waiting most of his life for on Saturday. While the late Queen's coronation was the first televised, King Charles III's is the first in this digital age, which means you can always catch up (if you want) on places like YouTube and not have to be glued to the screen the entire time.
- Ministry of Transport continuing to make (good) headlines: 10 year driver's license validity is back on the table, with a good deal to boot - pay 9, get 1 year free LOL
