Even though Raya is only on Thursday, people have already taken next week off and left town early. As a local, I'm not complaining - me and the foreign talent will paint the town red in their absence :P
- Saw RED 2 again, this time at the nearby TGV with a free movie pass that the sibling got that he wasn't using. Forgot how blatant the product placement in this movie was.
- Collected my free ticket and premiums at this year's Bookfest Malaysia. It was probably less crowded than it would be in a few days with the long weekend coming up.
- I hope the (rumoured) FOX theme park in Genting has (at the very least) a Simpsons park. But with 20th Century Fox owning so many properties, I can only guess (even though it's already reported). If it's gonna be anything like me and the Sentosa park, then I guess they won't be getting a lot of repeat visit money from me :P
- Finally tried the "strong" durian milkshake at Once Upon A Milkshake Malaysia in KLCC. Lucky I got a mini-sized one, because I was over it when I finished because of the milk content, not the durian (which was fine). At least I got that out of the way. But I would try some other flavour or even the soft serve ice cream the next time I'm there.
- Not so painless shopping experience online this week: This particular merchant on Rakuten Malaysia took my money faster than I can say Jack Robinson and before I could cancel my order (coupon code didn't go through, so I'm not about to; besides, they called to tell me that one of the items I ordered was out of stock and cancelling the entire order was faster). They were a little slow in actually cancelling my order. And after I got the acknowledgment email from them on Friday, I still don't see the refund in my account (to be fair, not many banks work weekends anymore). I hope to see the money in the coming week.
- Saw Niamahsutra on Thursday night. No idea why anyone would watch it more than once.
