Uncle Jit passed yesterday (Saturday). It was interesting reading the soc med outpour from some local comics who were influenced by the man to venture into standup comedy themselves, as well as from other people who actually knew him in life.
As a fan who's seen his standup shows and stage acting over the years (since the early aughts for me, anyway), and have only interacted with the man ONCE in all these years (during the recent production of Gold Rain), I have nothing else to say but he will be missed. My only regret was I didn't manage to get him to sign my copy of his book of plays (he did sign a ticket stub, a small consolation).

- Was wondering what took so long for people to complain about Dr Phil's show being a "toxic workplace"
- Wordle finally moved over to the NYT site.
- At least Tom Cruise had the sense to leave the Mission: Impossible after the next 2 movies.. will it go with him, or will there be a reboot with a new lead?
- Saw Death on the Nile on Saturday morning.
